The official announcement also included Russian and Turkish voices personalities to follow ranging from TV host, news anchor, journalists and singer based in Russia and Turkey. The update is available on twitter website and mobile twitter, but some apps that developed separately such as iPhone and iPad twitter apps won’t support Turkish and Russian language services.
Following the announcement of Korean language services in January 2011, Twitter’s multilingual capability now covers English, French, Italian, Japanese, German, Spanish, Korean, Russian and Turkish. The message character count remains the same, limited at 140-character in all languages.
